Full-Time CT/Radiology Technologist

About the role

Ashe Memorial Hospital in West Jefferson, North Carolina, is hiring a full-time CT Technologist for its Imaging department. The technologist performs computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to support accurate and timely diagnosis, working especially during overnight hours. The position is on-call and offers relocation assistance consideration.

Key responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and clinical protocols
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and select appropriate imaging parameters
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
• Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for reactions
• Maintain patient safety, comfort and confidentiality
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary care teams
• Support additional radiology services as needed
• Maintain equipment and follow quality control standards
• Document procedures accurately in line with regulatory requirements

Required profile

• ARRT (CT) registered or registry-eligible
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current CPR certification (required)
• CT experience preferred; strong candidates with relevant training will be considered
• Ability to work independently in a night-shift environment
• Compliance with hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)
• Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening after offer
