Full-Time Barista Position

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Barista to join Restaurant Associates at our New York location. You will prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks, handle food safely, and provide friendly service to customers and catering clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare espresso‑based beverages and related food items following standard recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and handle cash and card payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of the service area, equipment, and workstations.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Ensure food safety by following HACCP guidelines and proper temperature controls.
• Greet customers courteously and address any concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food service or customer‑facing roles.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to hygiene standards.

Required skills

• Operation of espresso machines.
• Use of POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
• Cash handling.
• Knowledge of HACCP food‑safety procedures.
