About the role

This position combines teaching and patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. It emphasizes education, leadership, and guidance for medical students, residents, and fellows while delivering high‑quality pediatric services.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric care while integrating teaching responsibilities.
  • Mentor and guide medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical settings.

Required profile

  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Eligible for active Louisiana medical licensure; graduating residents are welcome.
  • Appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Pediatrics.
