About the role

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to join their full‑time clinical faculty. Candidates must be eligible for a Louisiana medical license.

Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care for urology patients at the tertiary academic medical center.
Teach and supervise residents in clinical and surgical settings.
Educate medical students during their rotations.
Rotate clinical duties among the main campus and two affiliated teaching hospitals.
Perform robotic surgeries using da Vinci surgical systems and train residents on this technology.
Participate actively in the accredited Urology Residency Training Program.

Required profile

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
Eligibility for a Louisiana medical license.
Commitment to a full‑time academic clinical faculty position.
Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
