Full-Time Academic ENT Physician

About the role

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport seeks a board‑certified otolaryngologist for a full‑time academic position. The role combines patient care, teaching, and optional research in a tertiary Level I trauma center serving the tri‑state region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive otolaryngology services to a diverse patient population.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Otolaryngology‑Head & Neck Surgery.
• Participate in clinical research projects as desired.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
• Engage in departmental meetings and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology.
• Eligibility for an active Louisiana medical license.
• Demonstrated excellence in patient care and medical education.
• Commitment to maintaining a good work‑life balance in a rapidly expanding department.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
