About the role

Ochsner LSU Health System and Louisiana State University Health Science Center‑Shreveport seeks a BE/BC Endocrinologist for a full‑time faculty position at an academic rank determined by experience and qualifications. The practice treats common and rare endocrine conditions and collaborates with strong oncology, surgery, radiology and other departments.

Key responsibilities

Teach medical students, house staff and fellows.
Provide outpatient clinic care and inpatient consultations across multiple services.
Conduct clinical or laboratory research.
Participate in community service activities.

Required profile

MD or equivalent terminal degree.
Qualified for a Louisiana medical license.
Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
