Full Stack Software Engineer (DoD)

About the role

As a full‑stack developer at Booz Allen you will deliver end‑to‑end software solutions in a fast, agile environment, supporting Department of Defense (DoD) clients. You will work from concept through production, applying modern architectural approaches and emerging technologies to solve complex problems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full‑stack applications for DoD projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure solutions align with existing architecture, operating environment, and future enhancements.
• Identify and implement system improvements, automation, and optimization opportunities.
• Maintain code quality through automated testing and continuous integration practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience designing, modifying, and implementing software applications.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with web development stacks and programming languages.
• 1+ year of experience supporting DoD initiatives and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation.
