Frontend Developer – React.js (Composable Commerce)

About the role

Ralph Lauren is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join its Digital Commerce Development team in North America. The role focuses on implementing composable commerce solutions and enhancing the e‑commerce platform across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement new user‑facing features using modern front‑end technologies such as React.js, Next.js and Node.js.
• Build reusable components and scalable front‑end libraries to support rapid development cycles.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes from Figma into high‑quality, responsive, and accessible code.
• Optimize application performance across various devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Participate in peer code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Stay current with emerging front‑end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, and propose improvements to development processes and tooling.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of hands‑on front‑end development experience, preferably in e‑commerce or consumer‑facing web applications.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality, scalable front‑end solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with global development teams.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in JavaScript, including modern ES6+ features.
• Deep knowledge of the React.js ecosystem and core principles.
• Experience with Next.js and Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with state‑management solutions such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
• Ability to convert designs from Figma into production‑ready code.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive and mobile‑first design principles.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data operations.
