Front Office Manager

About the role

The Hampton Inn Boston Logan Airport Chelsea, a 105-room hotel near Boston Logan International Airport, is hiring a Front Office Manager. The manager runs front office operations in line with guest service and sustainability standards, with a growth path to Assistant General Manager, General Manager and Area General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates so they meet brand and hotel standards and core values
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to raise departmental and overall guest satisfaction
• Monitor front office financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting controls and procedures
• Develop, implement and monitor daily, weekly, monthly and annual budgets and forecasts; review, approve and order capital budget items
• Supervise guest services department managers
• Review guest correspondence and incident logs, and direct staff accordingly
• Oversee vendor and personnel contracts throughout the hotel
• Monitor room occupancy to avoid overbooking and create action plans to fix guest service issues
• Follow safe work habits, protective equipment, MSDS and OSHA standards, and perform other duties requested by management

Required profile

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2 to 5 years of hospitality-related experience
