Front Office Agent (Part Time)

About the role

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, a luxury property in Tucson's Catalina Foothills, is looking for a part-time Front Office Agent. The role is the face of the hotel, creating memorable first impressions and delivering exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and register guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a seamless arrival.
• Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information in line with hotel policy.
• Promote hotel services, amenities and local attractions.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings and banquet orders.
• Perform check-outs and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Keep the Front Desk and lobby clean and well presented.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritising guest and team member safety.
• Attend regular shifts, mandatory training and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and pride in anticipating and exceeding guest needs.
• Clear verbal and written communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
• Minimum of one year of guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with a Property Management System preferred; Opera system preferred.
