Front End Manager

About the role

Manages front‑end and store office operations, staff, and compliance to ensure high customer satisfaction and a safe, efficient checkout experience.

Key responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, develop, and schedule front‑end partners while conducting performance evaluations.
• Oversee compliance for AML, lottery, Western Union, and other regulated transactions.
• Monitor cash handling, daily audits, bank deposits, and resolve variances with the Store Director.
• Maintain store presentation, safety, shrink controls, and ensure adequate staffing for opening and closing shifts.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints, enforce service standards, and act as a role model for partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of age; associate degree or equivalent with at least two years related experience.
• Obtain HIPAA, TABC/Alcohol‑Tobacco, Food Safety, and AML certifications within two weeks of hire.
• Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of checkout policies, store office processes, and anti‑money‑laundering regulations.
• Intermediate knowledge of on‑site fuel‑station procedures (if applicable).
• Basic mathematical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced cash register operation and cash‑handling procedures.
