Front-End Developer (Mid-Level)

About the role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Front-End Developer to help build and optimize our GenAI‑powered video editing platform. You will work remotely within a European time zone, collaborating with a fast‑moving startup backed by top investors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript in a monorepo environment.
• Integrate GraphQL queries, mutations, and subscriptions, designing caching and state‑sync strategies with tools like XState or Zustand.
• Implement AI features via the Vercel AI SDK and other LLM tools to create chat‑driven user experiences.
• Optimize browser‑level media and video performance, contributing to web‑based video editing tools such as Remotion.
• Maintain and occasionally improve Firebase services including Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions.

Required profile

• Proficient in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and GraphQL.
• Experience with real‑time data handling, GraphQL subscriptions, and local storage strategies.
• Familiarity with AI SDK integration and video/media performance optimization.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to write clean, modular code.
