Front Desk Supervisor – Hampton Inn – Colchester

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, service‑driven Front Desk Supervisor to lead front desk operations at our Hampton Inn in Colchester. The role combines guest‑facing responsibilities with operational oversight, ensuring seamless arrivals, departures, and financial accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front desk activities, reconcile revenue, payments, taxes and adjust daily reports across rooms, F&B and other outlets.
• Act as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts, handling guest issues, emergencies and ensuring safety and service continuity.
• Deliver exceptional check‑in/check‑out experiences, personally engage with guests, and honor member benefits.
• Lead, coach and develop front desk associates and night audit team, fostering professionalism and accountability.
• Uphold brand standards, monitor mobile check‑in/out, guest cases and service metrics.

Required profile

• Previous front office or hotel operations experience, supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with solid understanding of hotel financial processes.
• Passion for guest service and ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays.
