Front Desk Coordinator - Lakeside Spa & Fitness (Part Time)

About the role

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, a luxury property in Tucson's Catalina Foothills recognized as an AZ Central Top Workplace, is hiring a part-time Front Desk Coordinator for its Lakeside Spa & Fitness. As the welcoming face of the spa and fitness environment, you will support the Spa & Wellness Manager in keeping the spa and health club running smoothly, manage reservations and coordinate with therapists and attendants.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, explain spa treatments, packages and promotions, and help them navigate the health club and facilities
• Manage spa and wellness reservations, confirm appointments and keep the booking system accurate
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering and Front Office, and run daily briefings with spa teams
• Support the Spa & Wellness Manager, keep areas clean and stocked, and help with inventory of retail, beverages, linens and spa supplies
• Maintain retail displays, give product knowledge and promote treatments, memberships and retail products
• Process transactions such as retail checkout, package redemptions and gratuity allocation
• Assist with locker assignments, robe and slipper distribution and lounge readiness
• Uphold safety, sanitation and brand standards, and comply with legal policies

Required profile

• High school diploma required; a degree or certification in Hospitality, Wellness or a related field is preferred
• 1-2 years of customer service or hospitality experience; prior spa, fitness or luxury service experience strongly preferred
• Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Regular attendance and ability to work varying schedules; lifting up to 25 pounds
• CPR/AED certification preferred or willingness to obtain it

Required skills

• Familiarity with spa booking systems, POS platforms or guest management software preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time-management skills
