About the role
Meijer is hiring a Fresh Assembly Processing Clerk in its manufacturing facilities in Lansing. The person in this position handles and packages several varieties of customer convenience produce items. The job profile is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned.
Key responsibilities
- Handle and package several varieties of customer convenience produce items.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of a food manufacturing facility.
- Comply with the written HACCP plan and SQF guidelines.
- Carry out daily intensive sanitation.
- Work in a cool environment.
Required profile
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Ability to stay on task and meet production standards.
- Detail-oriented; related food production experience is a plus.
- English language skills are preferred.
