French Teacher (Grades 9-12) – Full-Time

About the role

The Rio Americano campus of San Juan Unified School District is seeking a dedicated French teacher for the 2026‑27 school year. This full‑time, permanent position will serve students in grades 9‑12, delivering French 1‑4 and AP French curricula.

Key responsibilities

• Teach French courses (French 1‑4 and AP French) to high‑school students.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with state and district standards.
• Assess student progress, assign grades, and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in faculty meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Valid secondary teaching credential in French.
• Experience teaching French at the high‑school level, preferably with AP curriculum.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and collaborative skills.
