French Teacher for Grades 5-12 (IB)

About the role

Dwight School, an IB World School on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, seeks a dedicated French Teacher for grades 5‑12 starting the 2026‑2027 academic year. This full‑time position runs from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and supports the school’s mission to ignite each child’s spark of genius.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging French language instruction using a variety of pedagogical approaches.
• Integrate technology effectively into lessons and student assignments.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student learning.
• Design and plan curriculum aligned with International Baccalaureate requirements.
• Participate in school community activities and communication with families.
