French Teacher (2026-2027)

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated French Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. Working under the supervision of the Principal, the teacher will design and deliver an instructional program that meets the diverse needs of all students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with long‑range curriculum goals.
• Assess student performance, provide feedback, and adjust instruction as needed.
• Promote a positive learning environment and encourage self‑direction and motivation.
• Utilize a variety of instructional materials and teaching techniques both inside and outside the classroom.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate results to appropriate parties.
• Complete required reports promptly and participate in school‑wide responsibilities.
• Model core values of Stafford County Public Schools and engage in ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in French, Education, or a related field.
• Valid Virginia teaching license with a French endorsement, or eligibility to obtain one.
