About the role

FAR Inspections is seeking reliable independent contractors to perform residential mortgage inspections in San Augustine County, Texas. You will conduct brief exterior visits to verify property occupancy and report general conditions, working on your own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Determine property occupancy status using industry‑standard indicators.
• Capture at least nine photos per inspection and submit concise reports via a mobile application.
• Plan and manage your own routing, schedule, and territory coverage.
• Maintain consistent coverage and meet deadlines across a rural county with frequent driving.

Required profile

• Own a reliable, fuel‑efficient vehicle suitable for long drives on country roads.
• Smartphone (iOS or Android) capable of running the reporting app.
• Computer with internet access and a printer for document handling.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to work without direct supervision.
• Pass a standard background check.
