Founding Product Manager, Control Plane

About the role

Runlayer is building a governance layer for AI agents that lets enterprises adopt AI safely. As the Founding Product Manager for the Control Plane you will own the end‑to‑end product that provides discovery, visibility, real‑time controls and identity management for every MCP, skill, plugin and agent.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for the control‑plane surface, from discovery through shipped product.
• Run discovery sessions with security, IT buyers and developers, turning signals into a prioritized roadmap.
• Make product decisions, prioritize features and ship weekly with engineering teams.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years on security, infrastructure or identity/IAM products.
• Founder or early‑stage PM experience building product processes from zero.
• Deep understanding of the buyer/user split between CISO/IT teams and developers.

Required skills

• Security and governance expertise.
• Identity and IAM knowledge.
• Technical fluency with proxies, policy engines, OAuth/identity and audit pipelines.
