Founding Data & Analytics Engineer

About the role

Sailor Health is seeking its first Founding Data & Analytics Engineer to build and scale the data foundation that powers clinical insights, AI copilots, and operational analytics. You will work directly with co‑founders, clinicians, and engineers to create a robust, AI‑first data stack from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Create data‑powered web applications that address concrete business problems.
• Design and maintain Snowflake and dbt pipelines that integrate EHR, CRM, and communication data.
• Develop AI/ML analyses of therapy transcripts and patient outcomes.
• Automate backend clinical and billing workflows using Python.
• Track and visualize clinical metrics such as PHQ‑9 and GAD‑7.

Required profile

• Based in NYC and comfortable with in‑person collaboration.
• 3–10 years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to communicate with non‑technical teammates.
• Fast‑moving, high‑standards mindset focused on improving mental health for older adults.
