Technology Program Manager Consultant – Onsite – New York City (6 months)

About the role

Next Generation Inc. is looking for a Technology Program Manager Consultant to support a large‑scale public sector transportation client. This 6‑month contract is onsite in New York City and focuses on driving execution and delivery of complex, cross‑domain technology initiatives aligned with enterprise‑wide strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership (CTO, Deputy CTO, Directors) and cross‑functional stakeholders to lead large‑scale enterprise technology programs.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks using Power BI for leadership visibility.
• Synthesize program data into executive summaries, presentations, and actionable insights.
• Track and report on KPIs, project health, resource allocation, and conduct capacity planning.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and IT governance frameworks.
• Identify system inefficiencies, drive process improvement, and support the Enterprise Strategy & Architecture technology roadmap.

Required profile

• PMP, Agile, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications are mandatory.
• Proven experience managing enterprise‑level, cross‑domain technology programs in a matrixed environment.
• Exceptional communication skills for delivering executive‑level insights and presentations.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in Cloud Technologies, Data & AI, Network Infrastructure, Applications, and Enterprise Architecture.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Planner, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Power BI.
• Hands‑on experience with Jira and ServiceNow for project tracking and portfolio reporting.
