Foot & Ankle Sales Associate - Albany/Tifton, GA

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Foot & Ankle Sales Associate for the Albany/Tifton area, working in a field-based capacity alongside the Sales Representatives of the territory. The associate learns the medical device industry and the Foot & Ankle business, then helps grow it in the assigned territory, attending surgeries where Stryker products are used and educating surgeons and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Representatives on sales calls, covering cases, promoting products in accounts, building sets, managing inventory and converting customers.
• Attend surgeries to ensure products are available and to instruct surgeons on product use and functionality.
• Educate doctors, nurses and other staff on product use, maintenance, updates and portfolio changes.
• Identify sales opportunities with the Sales Representative, respond to prospect needs and tailor the promotional message after product training.
• Perform field calls, help implement new sales plans and marketing strategies, and meet or exceed business targets.
• Act as primary backup contact for Sales Representatives, assist with purchase orders and invoicing, and resolve account problems.
• Stay current on industry, customer and competitive trends, attend sales and professional association meetings outside regular hours, and follow AdvaMed compliance and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree or medical certification (e.g. CST, PT, CPT) plus at least 2 years of professional or related experience.
• High school diploma plus at least 4 years of professional or related experience, or 4+ years of active duty military service.
• Preferred: 1 year of medical sales/device experience, 1 year of sales experience, clinical background.
• Must live in the Albany/Tifton area and be willing to commute to Columbus/Macon, GA.

• Base salary of $65,000 plus commission and possible bonuses.
