Automotive Sales Consultant

About the role

Victory Automotive Group, a family-owned dealer group operating since 1997 with more than 50 locations across the United States, is hiring a Sales Consultant in Albany, California. The consultant presents new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in an informative way, promotes a prompt sale and maintains relationships that encourage repeat business. Previous sales experience is a plus.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers choose a vehicle and promote model options, features, value-added products and services, and purchase and finance options in line with dealership policy
• Conduct vehicle test drives while ensuring all traffic rules are followed
• Facilitate delivery by explaining vehicle operation, warranty and servicing requirements
• Maintain accurate sales documentation and negotiate sale closure ethically
• Keep up to date on vehicles, accessories, financing options and promotions
• Attend staff meetings, training and education sessions as required, and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
• Sales experience is a plus (any industry)
• Professional, dependable and able to achieve goals with limited direct supervision
• Outstanding communication skills and professional appearance
