Food Safety & Quality Supervisor

About the role

Ocean Spray is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Supervisor to monitor plant FSQA processes, manage process control and quality checks, evaluate reports, and implement corrective actions. The role also leads quality teams, provides training and coaching, manages project budgets, coordinates audits, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor process control, raw and packaging materials, quality checks, and GMP compliance.
• Analyze quality reports and trends, develop corrective actions and proactive plans.
• Provide training and coaching to Quality Technicians and other employees.
• Lead continuous‑improvement efforts to maximize operating efficiencies while adhering to quality standards.
• Interact with USDA, FDA, and State Department of Agriculture; coordinate internal audit requirements.
• Create and manage assigned budgets and oversee miscellaneous projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in food/beverage quality systems.
• Ability to support a 24/7 operation and influence others daily.
• Strong interpersonal, business management, problem‑solving and communication skills.
