Food Runner – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Food Runner supports the restaurant team at Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale by delivering dishes promptly, maintaining clean service areas, and assisting guests throughout their dining experience. This full‑time, on‑site position is essential to the smooth operation of a luxury hotel restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up food items from the kitchen, verify order accuracy and quality, and deliver them to guests.
• Clear, clean and reset tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware and silverware discreetly between courses.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to requests, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with stocking linens, china, glassware and food items, and prepare simple items such as toast, soup or beverages.
• Break down, clean and set up side stations and back‑of‑house areas.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in food service, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Professional personal presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time‑management ability to multitask, set priorities and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work closely with other departments.
• Physical capability to lift, carry and move up to 40 lb.
