Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Food & Beverage Manager will lead the food and beverage department at The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park, ensuring superior service and memorable guest experiences. This role includes financial ownership and fostering a work environment aligned with HHM core values.

Key responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates to meet brand and hotel standards.
• Monitor product quality, guest satisfaction, and compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
• Visually inspect facilities and ensure equipment is operational.
• Participate in marketing efforts and gather guest feedback on service and food quality.
• Document inventory, forecast usage, and maintain adequate stock of linens, glassware, silverware, china, and condiments.
• Abide by regulations for serving alcoholic beverages and follow sustainability guidelines.
• Practice safe work habits in accordance with MSDS and OSHA standards.

Required profile

• Prior management experience in restaurants is required.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate kitchen and restaurant areas.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with guests and associates.
