Fitness Trainer – Group Classes

About the role

Planet Fitness is seeking an energetic Fitness Trainer to lead its PE@PF group‑fitness program. You will help members achieve their goals by designing simple workout plans, teaching proper equipment use, and creating a welcoming, judgment‑free environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and conduct PE@PF classes, ensuring variety and engagement.
• Consult with members on fitness objectives and demonstrate safe equipment usage.
• Develop creative promotions to boost class sign‑ups and produce bi‑weekly exercise updates.
• Assist at the front desk: answer phones, check‑in members, handle new‑member sign‑ups, give tours, and update account information.
• Maintain club cleanliness and appearance.

Required profile

• Honest, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication, customer‑service, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed.
• Completed fitness trainer certification.
