Fitness Specialist for Senior Living Community

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Per Diem Fitness Specialist to lead scheduled exercise classes for residents in senior living communities across Loudoun County, VA. This substitute position is part of a continuum of care within the Senior Living Team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group exercise classes focusing on flexibility, cardio, strength/power, balance, and standing exercises.
• Develop and tailor fitness programs that promote positive fitness levels for senior residents.

Required profile

• Certification as a Fitness Instructor from an accredited organization (e.g., ACSM, NSCA, ACE, IDEA, SFA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Fitness Specialist, preferably in senior services.
• Solid computer skills; experience with electronic medical records is a plus.
