Financial Controller

About the role

GenPro Energy Solutions is looking for a Financial Controller to act as the financial backbone of the company. The role will ensure accurate accounting, strong internal controls, and timely financial insight across all projects and corporate functions. You will work directly with the CEO and operational leaders to support rapid growth in the renewable-energy EPC sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain accounting principles, financial policies, controls and reporting systems.
• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition.
• Ensure tight month-end close timelines, clean financial reporting and compliance across a multi-state EPC environment.
• Provide near-real-time financial intelligence at the cost-code, project, classification and company level.
• Drive process automation and scale the financial infrastructure to support rapid organizational growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial controlling and accounting operations within a complex, multi-project environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition.
• Ability to partner closely with executive leadership and translate financial data into actionable insight.
• Demonstrated track record of maintaining robust internal controls and meeting strict reporting deadlines.
