Financial Analyst

About the role

Asure Software, a provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) software and services, is hiring a Financial Analyst for its Austin, Texas office. This is a hybrid position working with the FP&A team and partnering with business leaders on the annual budget process, monthly forecast updates, trend analysis and key performance indicators. The analyst also helps prepare management reports on revenue and expense performance and contributes to bespoke projects.

Key responsibilities

• Partner regularly with business leaders to understand their needs and changes in the business.
• Provide financial insights and help with short- and long-term planning.
• Prepare management reports with variance analysis and adjust outlook models to reflect operational changes.
• Analyze actual variances to budget and forecast and review them with management.
• Maintain the key metrics used in Board of Directors, earnings call, investor and auditor presentations.
• Develop and monitor key financial metrics and business drivers.
• Support accurate and timely financial planning consolidations and ensure reporting systems and source data are accurate and reconciled.
• Provide ad hoc analysis for business support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, CIS or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of financial analysis experience.
• Diligent, accurate, detail-oriented and able to meet critical deadlines.
• Team player and effective communicator with a business partnering mindset.
• Proactive, curious and able to question financial model outputs and suggest improvements.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel modeling and data mining and analysis skills.
• Strong PowerPoint skills.
• SQL and other database systems are an asset.
• NetSuite and Salesforce experience is a plus.

• Base salary of $75,000-$85,000 depending on experience and skills.
