Financial Analyst

About the role

Maven Royalty Management is seeking a Financial Analyst to strengthen its finance team. The ideal candidate has experience in the oil and gas sector, lives in the Shreveport‑Bossier City area, and enjoys working in a small, dynamic environment where they can wear multiple hats.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage financial models for investment funds.
• Develop and maintain board and investor presentations.
• Assist with quarterly management letters to investors.
• Analyze royalty payments to verify accuracy.
• Support treasury functions, including cash reporting and electronic payments.
• Organize data for rapid report refreshes.
• Produce monthly and quarterly summary reports for clients and investors.
• Help with asset divestment processes.
• Refresh and review data models and reports in PowerBI.
• Monitor mineral and royalty transactions in the oil and gas space.

Required profile

• Degree in finance; MBA is a plus.
• Less than 6 years of experience in a finance function.
• Experience in oil and gas or private equity is preferred.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with PowerBI.
