Accountant – Client Accounting Services (CAAS)

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our Client Accounting Services (CAAS) team. You will work directly with assigned client accounts, delivering bookkeeping, payroll, tax and financial reporting services while supporting the firm’s consulting initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping, payroll processing, payroll tax, sales and use tax filings for client accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and general‑ledger postings.
• Conduct account reconciliations and develop work papers.
• Collaborate with client personnel and firm associates to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Assist with advanced or technical projects as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of bookkeeping experience; accounting degree preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional demeanor, high integrity and discretion with confidential information.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Availability to work overtime during the January‑March period.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks or Xero.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, general‑ledger accounting, journal entries and account reconciliations.
