Entry-Level Staff Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented entry‑level Staff Accountant to join our team in Cincinnati. The role offers hands‑on mentorship from the local Head of Finance and the international finance team while supporting daily financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier AP invoices and AR customer invoicing promptly.
• Monitor aged receivable reports and follow up to ensure timely payments.
• Assist with month‑end closing, GL journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Support external audits, financial record keeping, and documentation.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve invoicing, expense, or vendor inquiries.
• Ensure all headquarters deadlines are met throughout the month and year.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged).
• Solid understanding of basic GAAP principles and general accounting concepts.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Proactive, curious, and motivated to learn in a collaborative small‑company environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Willingness to learn accounting software.
