Financial Analyst - Back to Nature

About the role

Back to Nature, supported by the Barilla Group, is looking for a Financial Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role provides day-to-day FP&A and accounting support, drives annual SG&A budgets, works with Sales and Trade on retailer fulfillment, deductions and revenue recovery, and acts as a link between Back to Nature, Barilla America and Barilla Group for financial reporting and consolidation. The position is permanent and requires being in the office 2-3 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial month-end cycle (close, reporting, system submissions)
• Oversee Back to Nature accounting needs such as cost center and general ledger management, reclassifications and purchase orders
• Partner with the Barilla America shared service accounting group on accruals, entries and other financial requirements
• Manage Back to Nature balance sheet and cash reconciliations
• Build annual budgets and explain trade-offs in SG&A, Test & Startup and Marketing spending
• Support annual and ad hoc audits and maintain the repository of company contracts, vendors and policies
• Use financial systems and data tools such as SAP, EPM and Atlas

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• 1-3 years of finance or accounting experience; CPG and/or international company experience is a plus
• Experience in financial modeling, budget development and management, financial performance analysis and reporting
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance partners
• Willingness to travel up to 10% with no destination restrictions
