Financial Advisor - Investment & Insurance

About the role

Associated Bank is looking for a Financial Advisor to join its established team at the Stevens Point branch, stepping into an existing book of business. The advisor provides financial planning services and tailored investment and insurance advice to new and existing customers, working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze clients' financial needs and objectives using a holistic financial planning approach and recommend and sell investment and insurance products as requested.
• Achieve advisory business, financial planning, insurance and other key metrics set by the line of business.
• Nurture relationships with sales team members and contribute to a team-selling model.
• Complete and submit transaction documentation on time and resolve issues promptly.
• Work with the banking and Wealth Management teams, bringing knowledge of investments, insurance, economic trends and Private Client, Investment, Bank and Trust solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance required.
• 3+ years of advisory/fee-based investment and insurance sales, growing a book of business of $250,000 or more; 5+ years and $400,000+ preferred.
• Life, health and variable insurance license required.
• Series 7 exam required; Series 63/66 or 65 required.
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or CFA preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive required; FINRA, SEC and state registration and a background check are required.
