Finance Project Manager, Change Management

About the role

The Finance Project Management Office leads project leadership, consulting, change management and process improvements across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury and cross-functional initiatives. As a NetApp project manager within the Finance organization, you will lead enterprise-wide initiatives, with the primary assignment being either project management or change management depending on portfolio priorities and project needs. The role is hybrid with in-office expectations and hiring is limited to San Jose, CA or Raleigh, NC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams on finance and operations business systems and initiatives, and determine cost, resources and timing.
• Manage stakeholder alignment, communication, governance updates, risks, dependencies and accountability.
• Assess stakeholder readiness and resistance through surveys, interviews and focus groups, and map current and future states with change impact assessments.
• Develop and execute change management plans covering stakeholder engagement, communications, training, change champions, behavior change and adoption.
• Identify change-specific risks and mitigation strategies, and develop and monitor metrics for adoption and readiness.
• Deliver executive presentations and perform cost-benefit analyses to prioritize projects and change investments.
• Document and share lessons learned and research project and change management best practices.

Required profile

• Proven project, program and change management experience; a proven track record on AI initiatives is strongly preferred.
• Preferred: formal change management training or certification such as Prosci, PMI-CPMAI certification, group facilitation experience, and experience with Agile/Scrum.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in business or a related field.

• Target salary range of 129,200 - 152,000 USD, depending on location, qualifications and experience.
