Finance Manager – Strategic Planning & Analysis

About the role

PALFINGER is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting and analysis for its New Iberia, LA operations. The role will provide strategic insight to senior leadership, ensure compliance, and support business decisions across regions and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial transparency and strategic insights to senior leadership for decision‑making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow planning in line with corporate guidelines.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive process optimisation.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations, internal governance, and act as signing authority.
• Oversee accounting, tax, and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy under local GAAP, IFRS and audit requirements.
• Manage external stakeholders and act as liaison between global and local entities.
• Lead cross‑functional teams (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT) and support legal/administrative representation as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s or graduate degree preferred).
• 10+ years of leadership experience in Accounting, Finance, FP&A or Controllership.
• Strong expertise in accounting standards, financial statement preparation and international accounting requirements.
• Proven experience in corporate budgeting, cost management and tax planning.
• Leadership experience in Human Resources management and cross‑functional team oversight.
• Fluent English; intermediate Spanish preferred.
