Finance Manager - Çimsa Americas

About the role

Çimsa is looking for a Finance Manager to join its Çimsa Americas team, based in Houston, Texas. The role covers the financial planning, reporting, treasury and control functions for the Americas region.

Key responsibilities

• Organise financial planning and operational processes (current year and long-range) across the Americas and all business units through cross-functional coordination, key-driver analysis, KPI management and collaborative support.
• Lead and optimise the finance function and all operational teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, customers, tax authorities, banks and vendors.
• Establish documented accounting policies and procedures, create a chart of accounts and set up controls over accounting transactions.
• Manage the annual audit process so that results meet lender, owner and stakeholder requirements.
• Develop and oversee the treasury strategy and manage cash flow.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting for senior management and shareholders, including month-end and year-end closing and consolidation.
• Prepare the 1-year budget, 3-year budget and financial forecasts, and ensure compliance with reporting and tax filing requirements.
• Manage credit risk, related-party transactions and transfer pricing reports, and oversee digitalisation projects and SAP implementation.

Required profile

• University degree in a related field (Economics faculty or similar), preferably a master's degree.
• 7-10 years of experience in an accounting or finance department, preferably within an international group of companies.
• Advanced English and Turkish.
• Big 4 experience is an advantage.

• Advanced use of MS Office programs.
• Effective use of Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Team management skills, good judgment and analytical thinking.
