Finance Enterprise Partner - Pharma Technical Operations

About the role

Genentech is looking for a Finance Enterprise Partner supporting Pharma Technical (PT) Operations, based in Hillsboro, OR. The role reports to the PT Finance System Enabler in a networked, matrix environment and delivers financial insight and transparency for decision-making. It also offers the chance to lead or take part in network-wide initiatives as part of a global finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership and build trusted relationships with key business leaders to steer business outcomes.
• Translate business priorities into financial strategies and outcomes aligned with the company's 10-year ambitions.
• Own the financials: analyse variance drivers and give actionable insights that drive performance.
• Present key financial data and strategies for annual planning (OPEX and CAPEX).
• Review business cases for site and network capital projects, ensuring decisions consider the wider organization.
• Provide financial leadership for multi-site projects as required.
• Act as a coach and enabler, pushing decisions down to teams and breaking silos.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant finance experience, including at least four in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP manufacturing processes desired.
• Proven ability to build consensus across cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of data clearly and concisely.

Required skills

• Understanding of production cost accounting.
• Broad and deep finance knowledge and business acumen.
• Entrepreneurial approach, able to monitor performance, influence priorities and use data to support decisions.

What we offer

• Salary range of $88,900 - $165,100 for the Oregon location, depending on experience, qualifications and location.
• A discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
