Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director will lead the finance department, ensuring alignment with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards while supporting the organization’s overall objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct departmental activities, resources, and budgeting to meet organizational goals.
• Plan, monitor, and evaluate staffing, hiring, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with allocated funding.
• Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with healthcare regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
• Experience managing staff, including hiring, terminating, training, and performance reviews.

Required skills

• Business mathematical skills for calculations, ratios, and percentages.
• Moderate computer skills: email, word processing, spreadsheets, and basic database functions.
