About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional in Fredericksburg, VA. You will be the face of the brand, installing cutting‑edge smart‑home technology and helping customers upgrade to safer, more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home‑automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend additional equipment or service upgrades.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices for security.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and sales activities.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Technical aptitude – prior experience in cable/satellite install, construction, pest control or solar is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn through paid training and ongoing coaching.
