Business Development Manager – BlueLight Flash & humm3 Systems

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding market adoption of the BlueLight Flash disinfection system and humm3 heating systems across North America. The role focuses on food & beverage, aerospace and automotive markets and may be performed remotely or from any North American site.

Key responsibilities

• Own and achieve ambitious sales, bookings and revenue targets, primarily through new customer acquisition.
• Develop and execute territory growth strategies for food & beverage, aerospace and automotive segments.
• Identify high‑value opportunities, secure design wins and generate recurring revenue.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
• Establish executive‑level relationships and strategic account plans.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and customer demonstrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field.
• 5+ years of business development or technical sales experience in industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive or food & beverage markets.
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and selling complex technical solutions.
• Strong hunter mentality with ability to develop strategic customer relationships.

Required skills

• Experience selling capital equipment, industrial technologies or advanced manufacturing systems.
• Ability to manage distributors, channel partners and OEM relationships.
