Field Service Engineer

About the role

Provide direct onsite and remote customer service for Juki America customers, including installation, warranty, courtesy, and paid service. The role involves traveling to customer sites and ensuring machines operate flawlessly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate paid service quotations in collaboration with the Regional Service Manager.
• Deliver warranty and courtesy visits, install and service Juki machines locally and in assigned out‑of‑area locations.
• Recondition and refurbish used machinery for resale.
• Support trade shows and equipment demonstrations with technical expertise.
• Coordinate parts ordering and warranty returns through the Operations department.
• Obtain external agency information to resolve service issues.
• Provide installation training and complete required paperwork such as service reports and checklists.
• Assist in creating technical documentation, training material, and service bulletins.
• Attend machine training courses for new equipment as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of technical training and experience with electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Formal schooling or certification from a technical college, military school, or related accredited institution is desirable.
• Strong documentation, detail‑orientation, and record‑keeping abilities.
• Professional communication and data organization skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
