Service Technician

About the role

Join our dealership team as a Service Technician, performing repairs and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles. This entry‑level position offers full training on GM vehicles and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards.
• Test‑drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional service needs and provide time estimates.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; GM training provided.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and automotive background.
• Teamwork skills and willingness to undergo drug screening and background check.
• Clean, valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Fast learner, self‑motivated.

Required skills

• Knowledge of engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brake, and air‑conditioning systems.
