Diesel Mechanic

About the role

The Diesel Mechanic will diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel trucks and equipment ranging from light‑duty to heavy‑duty applications. This shop‑based position offers hands‑on variety, steady work, and collaboration with an experienced team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related mechanical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine service work.
• Complete bumper‑to‑bumper repairs on light, medium, and heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical issues.
• Repair brakes, clutches, drivetrains, transmissions, and install differentials.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and communicate progress.

Required profile

• Experience performing diesel vehicle or equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
