Field Service Engineer – Diagnostics & Treatment (Houston)

About the role

Join Philips as a Field Service Engineer focused on diagnostics and treatment equipment, providing on‑site technical support to healthcare customers in the Houston area.

Key responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain diagnostic and treatment equipment at customer sites.
• Provide exceptional customer service, adhere to entitlements, set expectations, and meet arrival commitments.
• Complete preventive maintenance, field change orders, installation documentation, and related paperwork within regulatory timelines.
• Travel up to 70% of the time, with average daily driving of 1‑4 hours and occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in diagnostic imaging service or 4+ years in electromechanical industries.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and on‑call as needed.
• Authorization to work in the US and residence within commuting distance to Houston.

Required skills

• Electronic, mechanical, and networking theory applied to equipment installation and repair.
• Use of diagnostic imaging tools and test equipment.
• Safe handling of radiation sources and personal protective equipment.
