Field Service and Delivery Technician II – 50% Travel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service and Delivery Technician II to lead installations, troubleshoot equipment, and mentor junior technicians. This senior, hands‑on position involves extensive travel to asphalt plants and customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Review installation requirements, ensure equipment, tools and parts are ready before travel.
• Install chemical storage, pumping, spray and delivery systems at customer locations.
• Deliver PavePro chemical products in various containers.
• Perform preventive‑maintenance inspections, repairs and troubleshoot pumps, hoses, valves, filters, fittings, plumbing and basic electrical components.
• Lead start‑up, equipment orientation and basic operator training for customers.
• Maintain complete service records, photographs, parts documentation and customer recommendations.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of mechanical experience with equipment maintenance, pumps, plumbing, automotive or agricultural equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment independently and make practical field decisions.
• Professional customer‑service and communication skills.
• Two years of safe driving experience; ability to operate a heavy‑duty pickup and tow a trailer.
• Willingness to travel ~50% of the time, including overnight stays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pumps, hoses, valves, filters, fittings and plumbing systems.
• Basic electrical skills – wiring, switches, motors, 12‑volt controls.
• Ability to read equipment drawings, wiring diagrams and installation instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, meters and common diagnostic equipment.
