Field Service and Delivery Technician – 30% Travel

About the role

Join chemtek, a family‑owned manufacturer serving the asphalt industry, as a Field Service and Delivery Technician. You will install, maintain, and repair spray and delivery equipment at customer sites while traveling up to 30% of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Install chemical storage, pumping, spray, and delivery systems at asphalt plants and other locations.
• Diagnose and repair pumps, hoses, valves, filters, fittings, plumbing, and basic electrical components.
• Deliver PavePro chemical products in totes, drums, or concentrate containers.
• Perform scheduled preventive‑maintenance inspections and keep accurate work orders and reports.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of mechanical experience with equipment maintenance, pumps, plumbing, automotive or agricultural equipment.
• Ability to work independently on industrial sites and follow PPE and safety requirements.
• Safe driving record with experience operating a heavy‑duty pickup or service truck and towing a trailer.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%, including overnight stays.

Required skills

• Mechanical repair of pumps, hoses, valves, filters, and plumbing systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, switches, motors, or 12‑volt controls.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
