Field Sales Representative - Medical Products, Manhattan Area

About the role

Beiersdorf is hiring a field-based sales representative for a territory covering Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island, with the ideal candidate residing in the greater Manhattan area. The role reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager and covers medical products. The base salary range is $80,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and skills.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong professional relationships and establish credibility with internal and external customers
• Understand and use sales reports and forecasts, and report calls on time
• Implement and execute key marketing strategies
• Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals
• Manage a storage unit and large quantities of samples
• Travel outside the base territory for company meetings and attend corporate and medical conventions, including some weekends
• Lift and handle packages up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited university
• At least two years of outside business-to-business or medical-related sales
• Two years of consistent, documented high-level sales performance
• Outside sales experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales preferred
• Recent working relationships with local dermatologists a plus
• Bilingual a plus
• Valid driver's license

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, Windows and iOS
• Quickly becoming familiar with sales tracking and reporting software
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
